I was raised in the High Desert of Southern Calif. I spent most of my childhood on the back of a horse. My Grandparents owned a cattle/horse ranch in the Eastern Sierra Nevada’s of Calif. It’s still a working ranch today ran and owned by my Uncle. I am very proud of my ranching family. I have my upbringing to thank for my willingness to work hard and persevere no matter the circumstance.
My husband and I have been married for 30 years and we moved our family to Pagosa in 1993, during the construction boom. My husband has owned and operated his own construction business for the 20 plus years we have lived here. Prior to moving to Colorado he held a Calif. Contractor’s license for several years. We have built many homes together.
My family homesteaded in Jefferson, Co. in 1918 and Estes Park, Co. in 1921. My Great Grandfather was a very well known artist and photographer of the Rocky Mountains in the early 1920. Many of his PhotoChromes of the Rocky Mountains are in the Library of Congress. My roots go deep into Colorado History.
We raised our 4 children to embrace and appreciate everything this community offers, including 4-H, horses, skiing and motorcycles. Playing in the river in the summer and snow tubing in the winter has always been a family favorite. We are now the proud Grandparents of two and could not be happier they too will be raised here.
In my spare time I love to search for long lost treasures. I am in the process of writing a science fiction book based on a true life story. I love my morning work outs with my friends. We rock!!! Just ask me!!
I am so fortunate to have so many wonderful friends that I have met through the years in Pagosa Springs. I look forward to meeting new friends and helping you find a home for your family.
I have spent my life in the service industry and I am ready to serve you.
